Redwood City-Terry Leigh Scott, passed away on July 6th at the age of 67 from cancer.
Terry was the oldest child of Hazel and Robert Scott. She Survived by her two brothers, Dennis Scott and Richard Scott. She was also a beloved aunt and great-aunt.
Terry was born and raised in Belmont Ca, and graduated from Carlmont High School. She moved to Redwood City n her late twenties, residing there for her entire, life.
Terry had an extremely loving and caring heart and was very charitable. She loved children and animals as well. she was a very active member of her church where she taught Sunday School, worked in the nursery , and worked as an audio technician. she loved hiking and the outdoors. Terry traveled to many places including the Galapagos Islands, Ireland, Sicily and she went on Safari in Africa. Terry’s career path led her to become a drafting technician and eventually a mask designer for semiconductor chips. she worked for several companies including Atari, But her longest employment was
with Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)/ Spansion.
Terry Leigh Scott will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A service will be held on July 22, 2017 at 3:00 pm, at Central Peninsula Church in Foster City.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Terry Leigh Scott’s name to the American Cancer Society.
