Ron Babcock passed away on November 9, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife Sheryl Babcock (2006). he was father to Greg, Brian, Kenny Babcock, stepson to Mark Watson and grandchildren to Chad, Karen, Sarah and Michael Babcock. Ron was born in Clearwater, Nebraska to Forrest and Hnrietta Babcock. He has one sister Karen currently living in Yuma, AZ.
Ron and his late wife both loved music and preformed at various musical groups including the Alameda Community Band, where he met his wife; the Moraga Wind Ensemble, the USS Hornet stationed at Alameda and the Temple Hill Symphony Orchestra.
Ron was diagnosed with Dementia in April 2015 and entered the VA Long Term Care Medical Facility in Menlo Park CA in May 2016. The family wishes to thank the entire medical care staff for their outstanding care that he received. Services have been held.
