Wilfred Kaohunaniokaleponi Laeha Jr.

April 17, 1960 - December 4, 2018


Wilfred Kaohunaniokaleponi Laeha Jr., 58, passed away at home in South San Francisco, CA on December 4, 2018. He was born on April 17, 1960 in San Francisco, CA to the late Wilfred and Merle Laeha Sr. and resided in Daly City, CA for most of his life. A devoted husband to his wife, Loretta. Loving father to his children, Wilfred, Terilyn, Traci, Tammi (Thomas Kamae), and Tristi. Adored grandfather to Keoki and Palani. Brother to Kevin and Lynne. Will also leaves behind many aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Will worked as a paraprofessional with the San Francisco Unified School District for the last 16 years. As a longtime coach and paraprofessional, Mr. Will had a positive influence in the lives of those he taught. Will loved spending time with his family and enjoyed seeing others smile and hearing laughter, especially from children. Will always spoke about the importance of building strong relationships with others. He was the example of the true aloha spirit and will be missed by all of his family, friends, and students.

 

Visitation and services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 730 Sharp Park Road, Pacifica, CA 94044. Visitation will be from 10:00am – 11:30am with the service to follow from 11:30am – 12:30pm. The spreading of ashes will take place at a later date in Laupahoehoe, HI.
